On February 14, MO-ORA shared valuable refugee resettlement information and connected with geospatial experts in the T-REX building. We started by giving an overview of our various programs, the populations we serve, and where the local resettlement agencies are across the state. Later, we proposed ideas on how we can incorporate geospatial technology in our work and opened up the floor for questions and suggestions. We fostered a great discussion surrounding barriers to employment in St. Louis, projected resettlement numbers for FY 2024, and more for a crowd of about 40 attendees.
