Affirming LGBTQIA+ Youth: Tools for Supportive Adults:

This training will provide parents, caregivers and professionals with foundational knowledge on the ABCs of the LGBTQIA+ community. Through a historical lens that will offer a broader context around current day issues, participants will develop a greater appreciation for the importance of using this as a starting point. They’ll then learn about various tools and approaches upon which they can lean into in order to ensure they are well-equipped to respond to the needs of youth in ways that affirm, protect and strengthen trust.
