Getting Started with Welcoming Work

Learn practical next steps for building welcoming infrastructure in your community.

This two-part webinar series will introduce you to the what, why, and how of welcoming.

Whether your community is responding to Afghan airlifts, looking to attract a new plant to town, or launching a diversity initiative, the work begins with connecting the people and resources in your community.

We call this work building welcoming infrastructure, and it is much more than being friendly, tolerant, or peaceful.

Participants will walk away from the two-part series with concrete steps for turning their commitment to welcoming into action, and an understanding of what welcoming work can look like in small and large communities.
