Navigating LGBTQIA+ Refugee Support: This session will provide an overview of current language and terminology used when speaking about LGBTQIA+ communities followed by a deeper dive into best practices for practitioners, case workers, and organizations supporting LGBTQIA+ refugees. This session invites experienced practitioners and case workers as well as those new to this topic. We will cover a breadth of information with opportunities for questions, follow-up, and resource sharing.
