Virtual Afghan Employment Authorization Clinic

Free virtual Afghan Employment Authorization (EAD) clinic: Hosted by Immigration Legal Services for Afghan Arrivals (ILSAA), in partnership with American Bar Association’s (ABA) Commission on Immigration, for Afghans who are Operation Allies Welcome/Operation Allies Refuge (OAW/OAR) parolees, who received an automatic extension of their parole status, and who want a new C(11) employment authorization document. During the clinic, you will receive assistance completing the forms required to receive an EAD based on your OAR/OAW parole.

  • What’s needed:  

    • Have a myUSCIS online account AND know the log-in credentials for your account and for the email address associated with it; OR you have never had a myUSCIS account  

    • Must show form I-797(C) Notice of Action indicating that your initial period of parole was extended  

    • If you are joining with a family, each member of the family must be registered individually
